With a deep, two-lane launch ramp, wet slips, short- and long-term storage, gas, supplies, and a fully-stocked bait and tackle shop, Highland Park Fish Camp’s marina is the perfect home base for exploring the beautiful and productive waterways of the middle St. Johns. Just minutes from Hwy 17 in DeLand, we’re conveniently located but still a world away.

Our ramp and marina open at 6 a.m. every day, and, because we’re a private facility, we’re often able to stay open when public ramps in the area are closed due to high waters.

Location, Location, Location

At the end of a historic logging canal off the wild and scenic Norris Dead River, Highland Park Fish Camp offers the closest access to Lake Woodruff’s renowned speckled perch and trophy bass fishing as well as the endless miles of pristine waterways snaking through the 23,000 acre Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge.

From the northeastern corner of Woodruff, Spring Garden Creek leads to De Leon Springs State Park, home of the famous Old Sugar Mill Pancake House. To the northwest, Tick Island Creek offers access to the main river via Lake Dexter. Another five river miles north is Drifters Riverfront Bar & Grill in Astor.

Heading south from the camp, the Norris Dead River joins the main St. Johns about a mile downstream from the Hwy 44 bridge and the St. Johns River Grille. From the bridge, Hontoon Island State Park lies a little over three more miles upstream. Another three-and-a-half miles takes you to Blue Spring State Park.

Two-Lane Boat Ramp

  • Suitable for boats up to about 25 feet

Boat Slips & Storage

All slips include access to 120V power for charging batteries, etc.

  • Covered Wet Slips

    • Daily: $15.00 per 24 hours

    • Monthly: $7.50 per foot per month (15 foot minimum)

    • Yearly: $6.00 per foot per month (contract required)

  • Covered Dry Stack (includes fork lift launching and hauling)

    • Daily: $30.00 per 24 hours

    • Monthly: $8.50 per foot per month (15 foot minimum)

    • Yearly: $7.00 per foot per month (contract required)

  • Boat and Trailer Parking: $85.00 per month

  • Boat Trailer Only Parking: $15.00 per month
